It is so light and folds up so small! Very clever indeed!

Those are the best features really. It takes up such a tiny amount of space in the back of the car, you hardly notice it. Both kids love it, and it has an excellent recline. Great for negotiating in shops.

There are a few compromises of course. As far as I'm concerned, these are:

- the foot part doesn't click up to make a flat sleeping surface, but this is only really a problem for babies under 1

- the shopping basket is almost impossible to get into when a child is in the seat

- the hood is a bit skimpy

- it's not brilliant for pulling backwards up steps on your own with a heavy load, becasue of the 'fold in half' design

That said - I would still go out and buy another oneas I really haven't seen anything as good and clever for the price.

We are on our second Petite Star and we love them. Our first was second hand from Ebay and was the original model without the adjustable handles. We got it with the idea of 'trashing' it at festivals and camping over the summer. It was great! Loved it so much we brought a brand new one when we got back off holiday! Both of us are tall (over 5ft 10 for me and over 6ft for hubby) and found we definitely needed the higher handles. I think they now come as standard. We would definitely recommend this pushchair to others. Baby slept in it, went across fields in it and ate in it over the summer. No problems with stability, but then again he's still under a year old!

i bought this to use on holiday and for quick nips round the supermarket, at first when ds was 18 months he used to slump in the chair as the strap between the legs was too roomy but now he has grown he fits well, it lies back really flat and he naps well in it, it folds up and down so easy, but i think it is awful to push, it fights against you and theres no way you can push it 1 handed in the shop, im going to sell mine and prob get a mclaren!

Too low for anyone 5'9" or over like me.

Seat width is generous, but length and particularly the standard footmuff length is short, so recommend for newborn up to around 12 months max.

The standard footmuff is well padded for winter and even looks showerproof, zipped all round, but has no attaching hooks to secure it to the seat bar threading the harness straps through the holes, which means your child will just keep slipping down the seat as the footmuff rear is shiny fabric! Very irritating, however you could always improvise some way of securing it I guess.

Struggled to steer perhaps because I found the handles too low, but I have noticed that pushchairs where the centre of gravity is more forward are harder to push.

Raincover is excellent, the access window such a useful feature all covers should have one, secures with velcro tie under footplate and covers entire buggy and back.

Shopping basket will hold one small carrier bag of groceries HOWEVER is totally inaccessible if seat reclined fully. A net bag attached to handlebars will add extra storage easily though.

I don't drive so walk and bus. The brake failed every time the bus shunted about (but I did buy secondhand, so may just need tightening)and the buggy fits easily into the wheelchair space on the modern low-liner, 'buggy-friendly' buses - in fact you could fit three Zias into that space.

Hood will not keep the sun out of child's eyes (so put a wide brimmed hat on instead).

Overall, it's tiny, compact, folds down flat (and not at all as small as the Zapp)but I wouldnt want to push it long distances or off road!

Tiny buggy for tiny mums and tiny babies!

I love it. It has an excellent sturdy rain cover. Comes with a matching muff. A basket underneath, handles that you can move to a different height and my son can lie flat in it when he wants to sleep. It folds pretty flat not as small as the quinny zapp but smaller than the average pushchair. I'd recommend it!
