Jane Slalom Pro

I bought the Pro slalom with the 'matrix' lie flat car seat.

Both my babies slept in the buggy, so it must have been comfortable! It is easy to attach the car seat to the buggy, but a bit fiddly to secure the car seat when in lie flat mode.

I run with my buggy and it was very good for this as it is lightweight and easy to manipulate with one hand.

However, the hand brake would only work for a day or two before it would stop and i'd have to tighten/adjust it.

The tyres were constantly getting punctures and were very stiff and difficult to change.

When my second child was born I purchased the Jane buggy board. I loved the board, until the quick release clip came off and the springs flew out on the pavement!

I know this a very mixed review, as i cant really make my mind up!

It some fantastic characteristics, but for me the reality was that there was often something not working.

Amazing pushchair. Great travel system, good sturdy wheels, big chair so suitable for big toddlers too! Very good for the money, will last years. Easy to fold/unfold and no faff to do even when holding a baby. Only downside is it is bulky when folded.

I love this pushchair, pram and car seat travel system. The pushchair can be rear or forward facing which is great as my baby didnt want to lie flat after the age of four months. But I bought it in the yellow/grey/black combination and the yellow seriously attracts insects on warms days. I would highly recommend this system but not in yellow!

I have had this pushchair now for 2 years, I bought it with the lay flat car seat and have recently purchased the Jane buggy board as I have just had another child. I stupidly bought a Phil and Teds and the new baby arrived, no comparison to the Jane.

The Jane is so easy to fold and to attach the carrycot. It doesn't take up anymore room than any other 3 wheeler and I certainly don't find it too heavy.

It is very well made and feels very sturdy, especially when compared to the Phil and Teds. The carrycot is superb, my second child was over 9lb and very long and he will fit in it for sometime yet.

I have used mine none stop, it has been through luggage control at the airport and cross country and numerous occasions and it is still in great condition. I have had no faults with mine at all, fingers crossed! I also purchased the footmuff, which again is excellent quality and very thick and cosy.

The only down side I find is that the brake is far too stiff, meaning I don't use it.

I would highly recommend this pushchair and the buggy board, I wouldn't be without either!
