Why people rave about Phil&Teds ?

It's because Mothercare push them in parents hands ! Often parents are not even aware there is other brand offering inline systems. And often these are better and cheaper than P&T !!

What a complete waste of money! I bought this pushchair after reading lots of reviews as I was expecting my second child.

My first pushchair was a Jane Slalom Pro, and there really is no comparison between the two.

The Phil and Teds feels very cheap and not at all sturdy. It is very difficult to try and get up and down kerbs and trying to pivot on the front wheel is nearly impossible, making going up and down steps into shops horrendous.

My son weighed over 9lb when born and having bought the cocoon as well I was mortified to find that he could hardly fit into it, let alone slot underneath the pushchair in the lay flat position. Not only this but when my son was born we had snow and extreamly cold weather, something to consider with this pushchair is that your precious new born is only 1 foot away from the freezing floor!

The folding mechanism is over complicated and always means that the handle hits the floor when it folds, meaning in our weather it generally gets wet.

I have reverted back to my Jane and bought a buggy board, a much better option. I would never recommend this pushchair to anyone and cannot understand why people rave about them. I can't wait to sell mine and try to get some money back on it!

I LOVE our Phil and Teds! I'm a P&T evangelist. It is great to steer (one handed) even with 2 heavy children in and brilliant for a toddler and baby. I loved the cocoon (would buy that just on its own for a newborn), great pram even as a single - which we used it as for DD before DS came along. Then to a Double and will be going back to a single again as DD grows but at the moment she loves hopping in and out of the back seat (a bit unstable but easy access) when we go on long walks.

I bought this with all the bits including the panier's and the baby cocoon.

It is very heavy and fairly unmanageable. My two daughters fought constantly over who went in the bottom seat.

On the upside it means that they were out of a pram quickly and walking miles with relative ease.

It is remarkably sturdy and passremarkable but a pita imo.
