i love it. i have used this pram for 2 years. i do hammer it, i use it every day taking my daughter to nursery and back. i love the fact it lays down flat. my daughter is very comfortable in it. even at 3 years old. the brakes broke once, silver cross fixed the problem even though i was out of my warrenty. i laso love the fact the handles are not form. as when they are not on the prams i think it looks very bad.

In a sentence - unless you want to throw money away don't buy this pushchair.
OK, so let's start with the good - it's lightweight which makes it easier to buy than 1 normal pushchair and a travel buggy. It lies flat from birth & handy having a facing you carry cot option.
Once our son moved out of the carry cot, he found the push chair comfortable and the 5 point harness was easy to adjust. It would be nice if all pushchairs had the complete cover rain cover (instead of just the front section so taking ages for the rest of the chair to dry out).
However, none of this amounts to much if you can't actually use the push chair. I was shocked at how easily it just fell apart (especially considering Silver Cross' reputation for quality). The zip on the carry cot section broke within weeks and the brakes went within 6 months. When we went to get it replaced under the year's warranty, they sent back a new pushchair (instead of just replacing the brakes). The brakes went almost instantly this time, showing that the "updated" model was even less reliable than the 1st.
The side arm sheared in half after about 8 months and like another reviewer, we haven't been bashing it, using it 24hrs a day etc. Normally this would annoy me, but it went while our child was in it which was frankly dangerous!
Afterwards we fulfilled the prophesy of a friend of mine - in the end, everyone buys a McLaren

This was good to start off with: the carry cot allows the baby to lie completely flat and it's light and manoeuvrable enough to use on a bus and fit into the car boot. But it's flimsy. The brakes were never reliable and the frame sheared in two after we had been using it for 6 months, without ill treating it.

This buggy is a great buggy for either newborn or toddler. it has a good size seat unit. good height handles and adjustable backrest and footrest and looks funky.
