Fantastic pram. Looks beautiful, baby is above the level of exhaust fumes and is close to me. I have had so many people stop to ask about it. I bought a second set of covers in pink and got even more comments!

It is quite bulky to fit in the car but does fit in a Fiesta and is easy to put up and down - haven't felt the need to get a second cheap and light buggy like many of my friends. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Have been using a V2 explory for two years now, I do a lot of walking so for me this pram is amazing and my son loves it too.

It's very high up, we can chat and I still have him parent facing which we both love. He is very comfy, falls asleep in it with ease and I find all the parts that move easy to adjust and still working perfectly after two years.

It is very heavy though, and doesn't squash up that small. So if you are looking for a buggy to whip out of the car and use for short jorneys then this may not be for you. But if like me you like to walk a lot then my son is happy to use this buggy all day, it's even great as a high chair when you go to a cafe for lunch.

Best bit of kit we bought, and when we had to use a smaller buggy for on holiday we all missed our explory. It's expensive, but worth it.

I have the new Stokke Xplory EVO/V3 and I absolutely love it. I am a pramaholic anyway and have had numerous buggies but this is buy far may favourite. It has its down sides but the positives far outway them.

Good Pionts:

Love the height adjustment

Multi position seat recline (As the whole seat unit pivots the child doesnt actually move unlike the stroller types where the back reclines (This always used to wake my daughter)

Can be used forward or rear facing

Can be used as high chair

Footrest grows with your child

Easy to push

Totally adjustable for tall or short people

Can attach a Rider board for siblings

Lots of accessories availbale

Can change all fabrics

Large hood with sun visor

Looks Fab

Down side

Hard to balance when on a incline ie when the contour of a pavement isnt flat

Bulky when clapsed

No shock absorb (albeit I have found this ok with the seat unit but never tried the carry cot)

Expensive all round including accessories

Rider board gets in the way slightly and I find myself walking to the side.

I have never found a buggy that does/has everything I want but this one certainly gets close. I tend to only use on city walks and around shops and its perfect for that. It would not be good for county walks or rough terrain (I have another buggy for that). May daughter absolutely loves this buggy and in some others she refuses to get in. I often have trouble getting her out :)

I always get comments on how great it looks and the height means your little angels can see much more.

Raincover is easy to use, shopping bag is large enough for a bag or two of shopping and you can also get a seperate changing bag that hangs of the cahssis although this is expensive. There isnt however anywhere to store more shopping on the chassis but I quiet like this as it stops me overloading it and damaging the buggy.

I love the highchair function. When out in a restuarant and cafe you can turn the seat unit to forward facing and adjust the height depending on the height of the table and then push the buggy underneath so the your child can use the table the same as everyone else, perfect.

An alround great buggy and in my opinion worth every penny.

I purchased Stokke explory set in July for my 3rd child, having read great reviews, Stokke website presentation as well as seeing it on shop floor (Harrods). Three months on as much as I've been trying to love it it has been extremely disappointing.

The reasons:

1. There is no shock absorbency at all - my newborn bounces around his carrycot and startles at the smallest bump. I live in an affluent area of London with smoothest pavements - I dread to think what it would be like on a rougher surface. I have to avoid cobbles. You should not feel nervous approaching a slightest obstacle.

2.The handle bar is slippery. Going downhill you have to be extra careful not to lose the grip.

3. Lockable front wheels are an expected standard in all pushchairs these days and it did not even cross my mind that this would not be available in "top of the range" pushchair. It completely loses balance on entering a raised surface eg. bus, taxi. Bus & taxi are important part of urban living.

4. Plastic chassis scratches easily.

5. I had to buy the very expensive sheepskin to help baby settle through the bumpiness.

6. Expensive, all accessories expensive.

7. It's bulky, not great for travelling.

On the basis on the cost of this pushchair you might think you're getting the best product on the market. Sadly, though, the price is only a reflection of Norwegian prices and if you've been to Norway you'll know that everything there is at least double London prices. Therefore you're simply paying top price for an average product.

THe height of the seat as well as the look are great but once moving on the road - as this is what pushchairs are for (not sitting at coffee table) it does not perform.

The pushchair model with these very significant design faults is I'm afraid is not great. Stokke presentation mentions:

"easy to stroll on rough and uneven surfaces,(...) gently embrasing,(...) safety & ease of movement, comfortable & secure, (...)ensuring smoothest & safest ride possible, (...)safely & speedily". The promise of these has not materialised.

I bought this pram because of how high up ds could be - if this is the most important thing for you then there is nothing better. And it's really useful to be able to make contact - physical and eye - without stopping. It's turning circle and steering in general is really good and I've had friends comment on how light it feels to push. I can just - JUST collapse and load it one handed too. I like the shopping bag size and you can attach stuff to the safety bar too keep them amused so they can touch it as well as look. When we used the carrycot it was a real pain! I even began to doubt my choice but that all changed when we moved to the seat, which virtually lies flat anyway. If you only use the pram for shortish trips I'd recommend skipping it altogether. I think it might be bumpier than other prams - or my ds is super sensitive, but that's my only bugbear apart from the annoying carrycot.
