Handy as a portable highchair, when out at friends houses and when starting to wean. My LO soon got bored of it though after about 5 mins and used to tip it back!! She was only 6 months too! Looks like a potty!! The tray's useless, LO could pull it off also within seconds!

I'm afraid like a lot of the other mums have said, I'd wish I saved my money as our baby liked this for a few weeks and then hated it!

And everyone kept asking why we were potty training her so early!!!

Just spend your money on something useful instead.

DS liked this for about 1 week and then HATED it with a passion and would scream and arch his back to get out so it is now under the bed. It is, however, a very cute design that I know many babies enjoy so I will be keeping it for the next baby and then introducing it a bit earlier.

I brought this for DS when he was desperate to sit + couldn't support himself = lots of frustration & I was fed up with being a human bumbo. We have had it for about 8 weeks and he still uses it every day.

As we live in the world's smallest flat it lives under the dining table and comes out as a mini high chair. It works very well as he is comfortable so able to concentrate on eating.

I have also been able to sling it in an old cotton bag and hang it off the suitcase when we jump on a train to go off to visit family (on a side note it was also quite useful for containing small toys at night so they weren't scattered everywhere).

The only down side is with babies that are still quite small (therefore have short arms). As it raises him up a little from the ground - if they drop toys it can be difficult for them to reach again.

This chair was useful for my girls but only for a very short period of time - 2 months max. As soon as they were big/strong enough to sit up they no longer wanted to be squashed into the seat and would fight to get out.

The seats are indestructible and wipe-clean so if you are considering one I would recommend buying second hand off eBay. I spent £50 on my two and looking back it really was a waste of money.
