Toddlers: The Mumsnet Guide: Million Mums' Trade Secrets

This is such a good book, I cannot recommend it enough. It is obvious this is 'real' advise from experience with options for what to do which feels much more realistic. And the anecdotes will have you crying with laughter. It really makes you see are not alone. Best parenting book I've read by far.

I have only read 20 pages but laughed so hard up to page 16 I was crying and had a belly ache which, when 6 months pregnant, wasn't that funny in the end - I tried to read more when I calmed down but kept creasing up - such wonderful humour, and so nice to be able to say "I thought that too" wow I'm not that weird after all. Really great tips. Made me come and log on and join the site. Wish I had read the baby version :)

I was given this book by a friend known as 'The Oracle' for all the wise suggestions she's passed on to me, and this book is the best present I've ever had.

It doesn't promise all the answers, but it does give a lot of suggestions and, most importantly, a feeling that you're not alone.

Quite different to most toddler books..has you nodding and laughing in agreement. Well worth a read

Brilliant, hilarious, reassuring (yes, there are mothers out there having a worse time than me!) and very, very useful. Have bored friends raving about the book, am using the pasta reward jar to good effect and am amazed that there are so many easy tips from others I can use on my own kids. Hurrah all round!
