Butterfly Beach Hotel, Christ Church, Barbados

Both the beaches where the hotel is located are superb - typical white sands you get all over Barbados and beautiful clear water. It felt safe letting Elly (my daughter) play quite freely here too as the water is shallow until quite a long way out and she was always in my view from where we sat on the beach.

We stayed in one of the apartments at the Butterfly Beach Hotel with an ocean view which was truly amazing to wake up to every morning. The bed sets and decor is a bit 80's but the apartment was clean and had all the bits we needed.

We ate in the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food was good. The hotel is well located close to other bars and restaurants so there are plenty of places to go. We booked the whole package through Thomson Worldwide who were also really good – so all in a great holiday to Barbados on a fairly modest budget - I would highly recommend the Butterfly Beach Hotel for both families and couples.
