Recently took our kids to St Kitts and stayed in a villa for a change. We've done hotels in Europe but wanted a bit more of an adventure this time. It was great having the pool to ourselves and the space to wander round the house and pool deck, plus the privacy of being able to eat al fresco without being overlooked was lovely. The beach was really close, and so quiet that we felt safe letting our older 2 go down there on their own. We joined them with the little ones and it was great fun just splashing around on the warm water. Hubby enjoyed the snorkelling, and I observed while sipping cool rum punches!! The St Kitts people were so child friendly and really took time out to help with the kids at restaurants etc. In the villa there was cable TV, travel cot, play pen and the owners recommended a US girl who teaches at the local Montessori who did a couple of babysits while we went to the nearby restaurant for a meal
All in all great fun
