Just spent a week in a garden view room at The Savoy with DS (3.5yrs) and DD (7months). Overall a very pleasant experience. The room had a king size bed as well as a sofa bed for the toddler. There was also a kettle and a small fridge. We did not ask for a cot (had our travel one with us) but they do provide them on request. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice ranging from cereal and continental breakfast choices to cooked breakfast. Make sure you reserve deckchairs by the pools before breakfast as they get filled up very quickly. With 3 pools and a beach (with adjacent kids pool), there were lots of swimming/sand play options for the kids. You could also do snorkling just off the hotel's private beach, which was amazing.

This hotel was picture perfect and you had loads of room. All inclusive was very extensive with a choice of Italian, Indian, Chinese, Fish and Meat restaurants. Ideal for the picky eater. Excellent kids' club, although more suited to the younger ages. Egyptians love children, genuinely, and they are most welcome. British guests are in the minority, with the majority being Russian, but the Egyptians love the Brits and it shows. Service is slow but, then again, you're on holiday!
