Hilton Grand Vacations Club, Orlando, USA

We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment which was extremely spacious and very well appointed. The apartment is made up of a one-bedroom suite with interconnecting room to a studio suite, which has its own mini kitchen. My children loved stocking up their own fridge and helping themselves to breakfast! The well-equipped kitchen comes complete with an American washer dryer.

The swimming pool is lovely with a good pool side snack bar/restaurant. (Ask for a pool-view room in buildings one or two and you will be near the main pool. There is a quite pool located near buildings three and four - if I remember correctly.)

There is a lovely, quiet lounge for reading - which is child free - and an active lounge with pool tables/games etc where children are allowed in. There is no children's club as such, but there is an activities centre where children can do specific activities (such as a back-stage tour of Sea World) and the recreation team run an interesting poolside program of activities too, including a twice-weekly dive in movie!

The Vacation Club is very well located, with a private, gated entrance to the premium outlet mall behind the hotel - to squeeze in maximum shopping time! It's an easy drive to Disney and to Universal Studios as well as restaurants etc on International Drive. The trolley bus runs from outside the hotel so you can get around easily in the evening to local restaurants etc.

There is a superb Publix supermarket across the road from the hotel and a fantastic Outback Steak restaurant within five minutes walk.
