It is difficult to give the Likeabike a bad review, and I agree with many of the otehr comments. But the reason I score it only 6 on functionality is due to the ommission of a brake. Surely this is a must when teaching a little one to ride? I know I should have noticed before buying, but I didn't.

Plus as it cost me well over £100 i cant say I find it good value for money when it competes with products half its price. Starting to wish I had saved some of my money. Saying that, my 4 year old is happy and I would expect it to last though to his little brother as well made.

We bought one when our son was 2.5 and still use at 4. Excellent make, lightweight, stylish and great fun! People ask us all the time where to get them and ask us to try it when we are in park (he gets v. upset doesn’t like to share this one!). He is able to balance really well and goes incredibly fast down the hill (too fast in fact!). Will be moving onto proper bike soon and I think there will be no need for stabilizers, well that’s the idea anyway. We took it to the Whipsnape ZOO at Christmas and he used it the whole time (except the train ride) and there was no need for buggy and the exercise kept him warm! Highly recommend.

excellent - turns heads and my son was straight on a bike without stabilisers at 3 and a half.

Incredibly lightweight first bike with suspension. Son started on it at 2.5 and at 3.5 moved to a real bike (no trainers). Raced around everywhere on it, took it on public transport, easy to put on handles of buggy. Expensive but used so much and still looks as new. Will last for many more children!

Beautifully designed little aluminium balance bike. It is ultra lightweight, has a comfy seat and is very easily adjustable.

Bought this when my daughter was 2 (now 3.4) and hardly a day has gone by when she hasn't used it. It still looks as good as the day we bought it, so although expensive was a real investment buy.
