Brilliant viewing for youngsters and adults alike.

It's a real hit with my kid. He's even taken to reciting all of the characters' lines.

I don't know about everybody else but I have become very bored recently of children's cartoon films because they are all so similar. Even my children find them dull.

Cars is different though. It's full of action from beginning to end and the characters are very lively and loveable. I would say that this is a film for slightly older children of around 6 or over due to the nature of the storyline and also the humour (quite adult in parts which is probably why the film is PG rated).

All in all a great film for older kids - and not just the boys!

Cars is an action packed animated movie aimed at children.

The characters are very loveable and the storyline is a bit more well developed than many other films of it's genre.

There are 2 main points to consider when thinking about whether or not this would be a suitable film for your child-

1. The humour is quite adult in parts which is why it has a PG rather than a U rating.

2. The action sequences are quite long and a young child might become bored half way through.

Generally though Cars is one of the better animated films of the last few years. I would recommend it for boys aged 7+.

Lovely movie. A film for all the family. Both my son and daughter loved it (not to mention the husband!!).

A different kind of film that the usual 'cute animals' - the characters of the cars were very different & very entertaining. Loved the guest appearances from some familiar voices too. Don't mind sitting through this one with DS
