Shrek is the best! Some grown up made this for other grown ups - the kids don't get it like we do but the links to fairytales is fab

I like Shrek and I hate disney,cartoons etc.It must be good then!
It is funny and well paced for a film aimed at children and adults.
Clever and fun - perfect.

"The opening scenes of Shrek 1 are enough to win over any four year old immediately - Shrek bathing in mud and breaking wind (cue hysterical laughter)." "The animation is great and the stories are full of well known fairy tale characters." "I love Shrek because it helps children understand that just because someone looks different they're not bad." "All my children aged from three to 17 can watch these films."" Fantastic dialogue and some really clever twists in the tale." "The humour is layered and there's nothing to scare or offend youngsters but plenty to entertain the adults watching with them."
