Baby Mozart/Baby Mozart Music Festival

I think by the time my first son was 3 or 4 months old we had the complete set of Baby Einstein dvds. They are absolutely fabulous. The music, pictures and animation are all specially choreographed for babies/young children and babies and infants are mesmerised! I'd far rather sit a baby infront of a baby Einstein dvd than anything else! Definitely one of the 'must buy's for any new parent.

I think this DVD sucks. We were bought it as a 1st birthday present, and DS showed more interest in switching off the TV and DVD player. It's no different from just buying a CD, except that on this DVD you have the added 'benefit' of cheap-looking pictures to underpin a really patronisingly babyish plinky-plonky version of Mozart classics. Total and utter waste of money in my opinion. I give it a rating of one, only because there's no '0' option.

"A lifesaver" and "a godsend", "very calming visually, accompanied by beautiful music (obviously)". "Images, toys and pictures filmed imaginatively". " It keeps both my baby and my two year old entranced for whole ten minute periods - which doesn't sound long - but certainly beats every other video we have tried". "For a toddler not interested in normal kids' TV, this had him hooked - and it's not too irritating for adults to watch either".
