Baby Einstein - Baby Mozart

I'm not sure if this will make your baby brighter - even if it did you could easily replicate the results by waving your own toys at your baby while humming 'twinkle twinkle'.

However, it does seem to mesmerise young babies.

This video amused my elder son when he was a tiny baby for half an hour at a time. I just used it maybe once or twice at most a day. He was so focused on it. He absolutely loved it. Maybe it did aid his intelligence, he is now top set maths, great at art, great at construction and spacial awareness. He is very observant. Who Knows?

Strange to watch as a parent, but children love it. Great for amusing my child while getting ready to go out. The music so soothing it often sends him to sleep!

I got several Baby Einstein dvds from a seller on ebay, and I think they are fabulous. They are deceptively simple on the surface - some are just images and music - but they are done thoughtfully - the range of images is really good. The ones (like Baby Da Vinci, which covers 'parts of the body') which have a theme are delightful, and some include basic sign language, or the French and Spanish for certain words. CUTE! And my daughters loves her fix in the mornings.

Agree with the baby valium comment. I could have gone out for dinner and a movie if this was on a perpetual oop ;-) Calmed, soothed and delighted my daughter from birth-18 months.
