Used to be brilliant but have stopped using them since they changed the 'recipe'. After the rebranding, they leaked, especially at night, and also seemed to give my dd a funny rash. Not good. I have switched to Sainsbury's and Tesco's own brand nappies and wonder why I didn't do it sooner.

I have used Active Fit with both my boys and was really upset when they changed them!! Now i am really happy with them...ther is a trick.

Take the size you child would usually be and then go down a size so if a 4+ then just buy size 4. No leaks nothing. Try using abby Dry after these and you will think your Baby has a real big bum!!!

After my son got through the very young baby stage we moved to Pampers Active Fit. They were great, we hadn't a complaint. We also used them with my now 3yr old son and no problems. Then about 2 months ago I buy 2 jumbo boxes in Tesco only to find there appeared to be little padding in them. No mention on the box of any change otherwise I might've just bought a small pack to try them out. I am absolutely disgusted. It would be more effective to wrap a towel round my son. Poo just shoots up his back as there is nothing to absorb anything at the back of the nappy. It is a disgrace what they have done. Nappy rash became a problem and I now have quite a few poo stained vests. We have now changed Pampers Baby Dry which we find great (hopefully they dont "improve" those too). We still have loads of the active fit left and I'm using one a day first thing in the morning as I know I change my son straight after breakfast anyway before we leave the house. Pampers should recall them. I was convinced I had got a faulty batch or something and I have never had to strip and change a baby during the night so many times, including sleepy bag and sheet. Mattress is now stained too thanks to Pampers. Avoid Active Fit, they are dreadful.

Have to agree with most peoples opinions of the 'new & improved' dry max nappies. I'd managed to find a good supply of the old style active fits in a store with old stock, but as they are now out I had to go to the new ones. My laundry pile is now twice the size due to all the leakages in the night.

Am going off now to buy a few stores own brands, and see which one is best for DD, as huggies never seemed very effective for her.

I would like to echo the comments here - I am appalled at the way they have changed the product. I was previously a loyal customer of the Active Fit nappies thinking they were great - no leaks etc. Well, after being up half the night last night with my daughter soaked in urine and getting through a nappy an hour - I agree with the other posters, Pampers have indeed pulled a fast one over their consumers. I plan to switch to Tesco own brand from now on!
