Jamie Oliver - Cook with Jamie

I was bought this book as a present, it's not a book I would buy myself but I was pleasantly surprised. The recipes are fantastic and easy to follow and the book includes lots of tips.

I love this cookery book!It is easy to follow and as well as some more adventurous dishes there are also some traditional simple dishes too.The famous 15 restaurant shortbread is delicious and easy to make-we all love it!

I just can't get enough of the Jamie Oliver recipes. I'm really suprised that he doesn't get more praise. I don't think I've ever tried a recipe that did't work really well AND he has encouraged my husband to get cooking. Don't consider this book as just for beginners since we consider ourselves to e out and out foodies but learned lots of new things here!

This book is essential for those unfamiliar or not confident with cooking. Jamie gives useful advice on the equipment you need in your kitchen, where to buy your ingredients, what to look for when buying your ingredients and how to handle, cut, and cook it safely. The food photography is beautiful, and Jamie brings his down to earth charm into all his recipes. He makes the most daunting tasks seem easy, including boiling a whole live crab.

If you need a good solid reference book at hand then this is the book for you. Plus, all the proceeds from the book go to enabling young people from tough backgrounds to have a career in food through the Fifteen Foundation.
