Fay Ripley - Fay's Family Food

I have a well-used book called 'Best Family Cookbook: Three in One Recipes' - but it doesn't have a celeb on the cover I guess. I looked at this one in the shop and thought it was nice-looking but always feel it's a just a career move when actresses (or models getting on, like sophie dahl...) turn their hands to cookbooks. Bitchy I know sorry!

I LOVE THIS BOOK. Bought it for two friends because I know they'll enjoy it too. Imaginative, tasty & do-able!!

I love this book and use it all the time. I normally avoid cookbooks by clebs like the plague but this one is clearly written by someone who loves food and feeding her family well. It's also filled with ingredients that can be sourced in one trip to the local supermarket. For straightforward mid week suppers that everyone eats I'm using it more than dear old Nigel and Nigella at the moment and have churned quite a few of the recipes out for friends. Amusingly written and down to earth.

I love this book. I use it all the time. Fay writes in an amusing way and all the recipes are fairly quick and work well.

The best cookbook I have and I use them all the time. Only a few recipes I would tweak and all do what they say on the tin ie fit for all the family and friends and anyone passing.
