For family meals that are easy to cook and won't cost too much, this is just great. Really tasty, nutritious and interesting dinners that will keep everyone happy.

I absolutely adore Jamie and from him that I learn how to cook British food. All of the top ten food on the first chapter are now family's favorite. The good thing about Jamie's recipes is that most of the ingredients are from the store cupboard which is great for busy working mum like me..

A down to earth collection of recipes that are simple to do and taste great - the chicken tikka masala is a winner for a start. I'm not sure we really need instruction on sandwiches or jacket potatoes, but in general it's great especially if you're not a very enthusiastic cook in the first place. And far more useful than the usual aspirational-chef-bolleaux titles...

Designed around recipes all the family will eat, rather than dinner party menus. Great traybakes, pastas, stews and soups. Usual excellent Jaime quantities that make it easy to follow. Can be "upgraded" to dinner parties if needed. Excellent book I use a lot.
