We bought the Maxi Midsleeper bed, chest of draws and wardrobe for our daughter. It is sturdy furniture however please be aware the base of the draws are made of thin plywood which is not strong enough for use. We have had to reinforce the base of all the draws. Price wise good value for money despite the above negative comment.

We bought this bed for our 4 year old, last month, as he had outgrown his toddler bed. We do eventually want to convert to bunk beds when he is old enough but we don't trust him with them even in his room, yet, so the modular design is perfect for us. It's a good, sturdy, easy to assemble bed and because we shopped around, cost much less than a divan. It is also much, much lower, which means less bumps in the night. The cons are that it is made out of pine, which does scratch easily and that the mattress is a continental size, 10cm longer than a standard UK single, meaning that you can forget fitted sheets.

We bought this as it is a kit that can be added to later to make bunk beds or a midi-sleeper. For now we have just bought the bed and the safety rail (designed for top bunk). It is simple and stylish and very practical as our DS cannot fall out. Later we can decide if we want and additional bunk bed.

It was easy enough to assemble with strong solid bolts.
