This was one of my best buys for a second child. Used it daily for the first 6 months and it meant I got away without the expense of a double buggy. It takes some time to get used to tying, but after a few goes you'll be slinging it on like an old pro (do you see what I did there!). Even DP was happy to wear it. DS was always so snug and he slept happily - even when I was cooking dinner! I loved having him tucked in so close, like being pregnant again, but without the heartburn [grin]

I had an 18 month gap between DS and DD and my Moby Wrap was a godsend.

Good points:

- Genuinely "handsfree"

- Excellent weight distribution so very comfortable

- Survived repeated machine washing unscathed

Bad points:

- Although you'll be slipping it on like a pro in no time, it's never going to be as simple as a ring sling or pre-tied wrap

- That lovely stretchiness that hugs baby to you like a second skin does unfortunately mean that once baby gets old enough to work out how to wriggle free you are going to have to switch to a non-stretch wrap/sling. DD figured this out before her first birthday and so it had to be retired :(

a bit tricky to get used to, takes a few goes to really get a nice secure fit, but when you've got the knack it's fantastic. Really comfortable and secure for a newborn. Cosy too, you dont need to dress baby much as she's all wrapped up inside - good for those quick outdoor walks when shes crying!

After reading reviews I decided that this was the carrier for me! Got a cheap one from ebay, read the instructions, tried it on a couple of times as I thought it was tricky to put it on at first but you get the hang of it relatively quickly. It seemed as if it was going to be very comfortable. Next step was to load up my son! He screamed the place down, so I did what it said in the instructions and took him out and retried the next day and the next and the next. He hated it. I ended up swapping it with my friends Babasling as her son had hated that. Amazingly my son loved the new sling and her son loved the Moby so everyone was happy. My friend said it was much more comfortably than the one she was using.

I find this sling to be my favorite for wearing around the house. I can pop ds in and out of it all day without taking it off. He loves being in it and being able to see things at my eye level. I can carry laundry with him in it etc. Great piece of kit. It's also very easy to pick them up second hand on ebay for less than half price...and since they're machine washable I had no issue doing that!
