I bought this online after trying a friends whilst on holiday. Once I'd sussed out how to put it on with one hand I was away and won't even try another baby carrier until my little one is big enough for the hippychick hipseat. My husband seems impressed with it too.

Worth searching online for a good value buy. there are a few places outside of ebay and amazon (which I'll never buy from) that are very good value.

This sling is my favourite to use when my 6 week old is awake, as it has a head support she can look around more than with other carriers. Also I can get on with household tasks that require bending as the head support means her head doesn't flop about. It is a little tricky to put on but is very adjustable and very comfy to wear once you have the hang of it.

I love my Wilkinet, as others have said, it seems very complicated when you first use it but after a couple of goes, the straps become second nature. It is a bit of a faff getting the baby in and out as you have to tie them into it - I have often enviously watched other parents popping their child into/out of a Baby Bjorn or similar but the Wilkinet is so comfortable to wear, I have often had my son in it for a whole day without feeling any strain (and he is a BIG baby!).

I bought this for my first child and used it all the time. She'd fall asleep in it within minutes. It's a bit fiddly to get on but once you get used to it it's like tying your shoe laces and you no longer have to think about it. I didn't ever master the back carry and stopped using it once my babies were about a 9 months old. I loved this sling.

I had this sling for when my DD was tiny, I found it pretty comfortable and DD like it. I actually managed to BF in it once or twice which was useful.

It is a bit fiddly to put on and I did find it made my lower back ache as DD started to get bigger.
