I bought a Didymos when my 2nd child was 3 months old, having seen how comfortably my friend carried her baby in hers. It took a while to get used to tying the sling but the instruction dvd was very clear and before long I could tie it up without thinking, even when addled from lack of sleep. I carried my son everywhere. He could sleep comfortably and my shoulders and back didn't get sore - in fact I got stronger. I used it till he was almost 3, so it was incredibly good value. I'd tried other baby carriers and although others might seem simpler at first, nothing could match the intimacy, comfort and flexibility of Didymos. The long-term benefits massively outweighed the initial faff. I can't recommend it highly enough.

We used this sling from when DS was about 3 months, and even now at 2y6m it still gets used occasionally (more often by DP than me, admittedly).

Absolutely love the colours, ease of use and variety of carrying positions, can't recommend this sling highly enough!

Truly fantastic. Good woven wraps are so comfortable, even over long distances, and versatile. If I could only keep one of my baby carriers, this would be it.

Re: tangawk's review: "how wraparound slings perform in hot weather..." - can I ask you which didy sling you have? I am looking to buy one and have been told that the Jacquard ones - more expensive and patterned - are finer and therefore lighter and cooler. If, however, the standard ones are also light enough I would be happier paying a little less and getting a plain one and dying it!

:-)
