Graco Logico M

We have had this car seat for 10 months and already the polystyrene across the back and sides has split in two!

I have looked at more expensive car seats and they all have polystyrene in them for shock abosrbing but the strengh comes from plastic wheras the graco one has too much polystyrene to cope with getting in and out of the seat.

It has very high side impact wings and as I am getting my 2 year old in and out the polystyrene is constantly bashed so this is why it has broken.

I am lucky that i can return it to halfords for a different brand as it is less than 12 months old.

I think it is a cheaply made car seat. I also find it difficult to clip my son in as when they are seated you have to dig around for the bottom clasp which is annoying.

I also found the cover shrunk slightly after one or two washes.

This is an excellent car seat. We bought it when our DS was 8 months old as he was too tall for his rear facing seat. He always seems very comfy in it and it is a good fit, with room to grow. I love that it lies back so that when he falls asleep his head doesn't rock around. It is sometimes a little difficult to tighten the straps. It fits very securely in all the cars we have put it in.

I think this car seat is brilliant. Graco have not disappointed with their products yet! We bought this one in Heavenly, as the Liquorice was out of stock, but it's not too pink. DD seems very comfy in it, and as she is 8 months and 19lbs it seems to fit her pretty well, leaving loads of room. It's fairly easy to install, if your other half reads the instructions ;-). It's not very portable in the sense that once it's in the car that's where it stays, but it is quite light so can easily be moved from car to car.
