Invaluable - kept my newborn cosy and comfortable throughout the winter. Enabled us to get him in and out of the car without waking him up (which he always did in an infant carrier).

I bought the Jane Capazo as part of the Slalom and Strata with Carrycot Formula package. Although a little on the heavy side I love this for long journeys and not having the worry of taking moses basket with me when we stay with Family.

My little boy was very small when born so he has had a lot of use, he is now coming up on 6 months and still this carrycot is going strong.

I would definatley recommend the carrycot for use of overnight and laying flat whilst travelling, my brother and sister in law will be also be purchasing the same system as they love mine!

I searched high and low for this particular model, which is a rigid-shelled carry cot with a thick velcro waist strap which allows your baby to lie flat in the car, and is also big enough for them to sleep in overnight. As it's not recommended that babies spend more than a couple of hours in the 'infant carrier' type of car seat, I was very happy that my new baby's delicate spine would be nicely stretched out when we travelled in the car.

It was very easy to fix into the car - it takes up two seats, and you can get a passenger in the back alongside it. It was equally easy to fix onto the Jané chassis - I have a three-wheel slalom pro.

I was absolutely delighted with this product, it made travelling on overnight visits really easy, and the cot even has rockers on the bottom!

The only downside is that once my son reached about 7 kilos, it got really heavy to lift in and out of the car, and although the base can be raised to put the baby in a more upright position, I do serious off-roading with the dog and pram, and the raised base just jiggle too much on very stony tracks. I did buy an infant carrier type seat when he got to 4 months, but still used the carrycot for long journeys and to take him round to his grandma's whilst he was asleep at night.

A fantastic product, I have found my Jane travel system a good quality well thought out product.

Worth the money.
