Fantastic campsite based on a working farm in the middle of the Dalby Forest. Basic but clean facilities (one shower and four toilets) but just wonderful for getting back to nature. Kid friendly, no restrictive rules and lots of families were there when we went in June, braving the rain and having loads of fun.
As you are camping in the forest you don't have to pay for entry to the forest, which I think is about £7 and there are loads of fantastic bike trails, a Go Ape centre, picnic spots plus you are not far from Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering where you can take a trip on a steam train.
