We returned here in 2009 and if you like a peaceful campsite with a lot of space it really is superb. In the middle of August we camped with lots of space around us.

We had a lovely holiday here and will return again next year. We love the beach and spent most of days visiting different beaches along the coast. Our toddler is two, and it was easy in the evenings as no clubhouse meant it was very peaceful. Lots of other children to play with and space for cricket and football in the centre of the huge camping fields.
Friendly helpful owners, electric hook up on booking and water supply near to each plot, quiet, great views, loads of space, heated outdoor pool, hot showers, hairdryers, washing machine, dryer, shared areas all kept very clean, children's enclosed play area, pool table, no club house.
Five minute drive to the deli, butcher and baker in Rock, ten minutes to Polzeath and other beaches such as Daymer bay. Ferry to padstow from Rock, Padstow a 20 minute drive... good fish and chips, Custard restaurant family friendly. Wadebridge has supermarkets (10 minute drive) cafes and a wide variety of shops.
Despite the heavy wet weather the fields were really well drained and dried up within hours of the rain stopping.
