We have just had the most enjoyable camping holiday staying at this campsite. It had everything we needed and just a short, ten minute drive from the town centre. We were able to choose where we wanted to pitch our tent (not sure if this is the case all year round) so chose a lovely spot where we could safely watch the children playing whilst we relaxed next to the tent, not too far from toilets and showers and a nice distance from the clubhouse - not too far to walk and not too close to hear the music when we wanted a quieter night. There are three seperate play areas for the children with swings/climbing frames/tunnel and a lovely big hill for them to roll down, play ball games or fly their kites. There is a heated outdoor pool which was nicely kept, a small shop with everything you need and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower/toilet blocks are very clean. There is one new block in the centre of the field which, as well as the usual shower/toilet, also has two seperate family bathrooms. These have baths with shower attachment, toilet and hairdryer. Again very clean. The entertainment was basic but the children loved it. Breakfast and hot snacks are available but are not the cheapest so I would suggest you cook yourselves as much as possible.
A really great place to visit.
