Pleasant camp site, not too busy although sunbeds at pool sparse. Lovely lake and beach, children loved that it wasn't salt water. Pool complex good, especially for young ones. Evening entertainment held in a new partially indoor space so the noise was directed away from the pitches, so quite pitch in the evenings. Fab pizzas from takeaway. Nice beaches and towns nearby a really nice part of France. Sea good for surfing, a nice contrast to the lake beach. Toilet blocks clean and plenty of hot watr. Pitches average in size, some shade could do with more as can be hot in summer. Overall an enjoyable holiday and would recommend campsite.

Large lively campsite with the plus of an onsite large shallow lakeside beach. Kids can go out miles with water still at knees. Lots of watersports, lively bar and restaurant. Great for primary aged kids and above, New water park planned this year.

A long drive but worth it, Good weather and a fantastic lakeside beach. Keycamp give it half a page but I'd give it a double spread! Good things - the shallow large lake the otherside of the bar - yes, its like Narnia - you keep walking and the tarmac turns into sand. Watersports form the rather eccentric Captain "Bruno". Also great shop, bar with funny French entertainments. Was starting to slow down as we headed towards the weekend for the 23rd of August. Pitches smallish but shady. Toilet blocks looked ok although we were in a mobile home. The site lets its own mobiles - look on their website. Great pool complex - would particularly recommend for preschoolers as safe and fun although cold on an overcast day - but it is a heated pool. Would be easy to flydrive to as a lot of Brits seemed to have done. The Keycamp chalets are huge and in a quiet part of the site. Bar noisy but only till midnight. You'd not need to leave the site if you didn't want to. Also at night were huge trampolines, bungee things, popcorn for sale, crepes etc and a nice glass of vin rose.

Fantastic family holiday - we did fly drive and everything we couldn't bring was provided on site, eg buckets and spades for the nearby beaches, games for kids, books for adults, etc. The site was shady, clean and in the middle of a pine forest. We went at the end of the season so it was quiet but the pool complex with toddler pools and waterslides was amazing and we went at least once a day. There was also a fantastic play area and good lake beach. It was a perfect family holiday as we didn't have to plan activities for the days, we could just amuse the kids (age 19ms & 3.5yrs) on site, or visit the local towns and beaches. That was without the kids clubs that had finished for low season.
