Parc des Alicourts, Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre, Loire Valley, France

Ideal for camping with children. There was lots for them to do as the site has three pools (one has a wave machine, and the other two have slides); a lake with a beach; two play areas; a children's club and bikes and pedal-cars on hire. There is so much on the site, including a shop, that there isn't really any need to head out of the village. The kids had a great time - and as a result, so did we!
