Camping Fusina, Venice, Italy

A brilliant way to see Venice on a budget. Venice is a 20 minute ferry ride away with ferries running from the site every hour.

The site offers cabins, caravans or camping pitches. The usual facilities: supermarket, eateries, bars. There is a playground and special child size bathroom facilities. Most unusually the site is also a sculpture park with an artist in residence.

It's a very big site and can get noisy with lots of backpackers/young people. However, it is still very family friendly and there are some lovely pitches overlooking the water.
