This was a lovely campsite. Pool nice but no slides if that is what you are looking for. The beach is just down from the site although there is a path which goes along the top of a cliff at some points. If you hold your child's hand no reason why it should be dangerous but you might prefer to go via the road and I think there might also be a diagonal route from the campsite across scrubland straight to the car park at the beach - we were going to investigate this ! St Cast is a lovely small town/village and is very French feel even though only half an hour drive from the ferry port of St Malo. If you visit St Malo find out about the park and ride which takes you in on a bus from the outskirts hence avoiding the traffic. The restaurant near the campsite is nice too although I would imagine it gets busy in high season. Onsite kids clubs out of season seemed to only be run by CANVAS holidays. We went to a really good multilingual karaoke last night of our stay at the campsite ! Shop good too. Not easy though when you have kids and stay in mobile homes when there is no land for them to play. We were put on a stretch where lots of cars went past many, in particular the british cars going too fast - think they thought 10kph meant 10mph which it doesnt and it certainly doesnt mean 20mph british drivers out there - how can kids play with cars going past their caravan at that speed ?
