Camping Monte Generoso, Ticino, Switzerland

A beautiful, clean and well maintained campsite on the shores of Lake Lugano, this site was a pleasure to stay at. There are all manner of watersports, or you can just lie on the beach. There are play areas for children, plus an excellent bar and grill. While we were there, they threw a BBQ party on the beach, complete with fireworks display! Highly recommended, and in gorgeous surroundings - Lugano is a lovely little town, and you are only 20km from Como and 50km from Milan, which is an easy train ride away.
