One of Keycamps most popular parcs and within easy day-trip distance of Paris and Disneyland® Resort Paris La Croix du Vieux Pont boasts a fantastic location. Theres an array of activities including Keycamps PGL Action Station, with its zip wire, trapeze, climbing wall, abseiling and archery. And, for that all-important relaxation, theres also a fantastic spa and beauty therapy centre on-parc.

we stayed with keycamp as a family of four in August this year. We were given a corner plot which looked promising, but turned out we had to share it with another pitch "because it was so large". Luckily the neighbours also had small kids, I would have hated to inflict the nise of my two on a retired couple hoping for a nice relaxing break!
The site was fine, nice for a walk. the lodges looked great, and the canvas vans looked to be in the best nick. Our van was fine, we have stayed with Keycamp before and everything was as expected.
On site there is lots to do, provided the weather is good. however, if it rains, the beach and lakke activities pack up and there is very little oing on. The kids club was great, my two aged 8 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and I felt confident i was leaving them in good hands.
The bar/evening entertainment isn't great compared to other European campsites. It is all very focused on the main (expensive) bar which tends to be full of blokes watching sport. there is a kids disco downstairs in the bar three times a week which was ok. After that, it seemed like everything just stopped...
we didnt try the restaurant, it didn't look all that appealing so we stuck to our own cooking and barbecues when the weather was nice.
I would go again, and would recommend for a cbig family or a group all going together, where you can maybe create a bit more of your own fun.
Saying that, the kids loved it, and DD cried when we left.

Lovely site but DO NOT BOOK WITH KEYCAMP. Use Eurocamp or Canvas. Our keycamp caravan was dirty, highchair was filthy and did not conform to safety standards. Couriers unresponsive. I made sure before booking that travel cot would fit in bedroom and our pitch would be away from open water, neither adhered to therefore ruining our holiday. Recommend site but strongly suggest you don't use Keycamp

Comments from other Mumsnetters:
Great site - fantastic if you fancy doing EuroDisney or Paris (both about one and a half hour's drive away) but want the option to get away from the busy theme park or city as well. You can easily spend a few days around the site. There are two pools - one is covered over, so great if the weather's not so good. There are also lots of things for the kids to do: a boating lake, trampolines, a great adventure playground and rally cars etc, so they would happily play out during the day, whilst I got time to lounge on a sun-lounger outside the mobile home and actually read a book. The nearest village is pretty small and basic but we did get one night out (courtesy of Keycamp babysitters) and found a great little french restaurant. The site restaurant isn't fantastic food, but very lively and perfectly child-friendly. Also lots of evenings spent there - at Halloween they held a brilliant party. All in all a great site, well-run, clean and makes for a very easy holiday with young children.

La Crois du Vieux Pont is a very clean site, with lovely facilities. We went with eurocamp, whose staff were extrememly helpful. The kids clubs were well staffed and friendly, although as we went out of season, all ages were together.
The swimming pools were a welcome sight on the hottest days, and the retractable roof was fascinating to the kids! However, the changing rooms were a bit dirty, and flip flops are advised while walking up the steps to the pool.
The shops on site were very handy - a grocery store with fresh bread, and a small gift shop - all staffed by very friendly people who were more than willing to let the children practice their French on them. There is a larger supermarket within a 10 walk -ask the staff for details.
All in all, it is a lovely campsite, in a lovely area. Very easy to get to, we had a car transfer from Paris - took about an hour and a half. Finally, the park has its own coach trips to Paris and Eurodisney at quite a reliable cost - what more could you ask for!

Lovely medium-sized site with excellent facilities. We stayed in a Canvas Millenium which was in the newer bit of the site. It was a 10 min walk to pool and shop, but was nice and quiet and the pitches were spacious.
The pitches in the older part of the site were more private (the hedges in the new bit are still growing) but some of them had a two caravans to a pitch - don't stand for this unless you're only there a night, all the companies had pitches all over the site.
The pool was great, our two year old loved the toddler pool with it's slides and also the big wavy slide and the flume that he went down on dad's knee! It's heated enough that you can use it on cooler days too. The other indoor pool wasn't quite so warm but it didn't seem to bother the kids in it. He also loved the trampolines (2 euro for 10 mins) and the swing park.
The shop is ok, but you'd be better at the Intermarche in Vic-sur-Aisne, a 2 min drive from the site. They do sell fresh milk though! The bakery is nice, but better baguettes can be bought in the boulongerie in Vic itself. The takeaway was busy but we only ever got the cooked chicken and chips, which were great value as you ended up with leftovers.
We did Disney - about 1 hr 15 away, buy your tickets before you go as it's 59 euro on the door for a ticket that's £35 online! Take a picnic, food is overpriced and rubbish. The 2 year old had a ball as did the parents! We also did Asterix (just over 1 hour away) on the clubcard vouchers. Was very busy at the end of June and lots of the rides were restricted to people over 1m tall so our toddler couldn't go on them. However, the rides he could go on were for children only, so he did them himself! Were glad we hadn't paid though. We also went to Paris one day, was 23 euro from Villers Cotterets station (easy parking, 20 min drive from campsite and 45 min journey). Don't bother with the open top bus, big waste of money!
Be warned that journey from Compiegne to the campsite takes about 45 mins despite it's short distance!
