Fab little stroller, ultra lightweight so ideal for holidays or to keep in the car. One position seat that is leaning back enough to allow for a nap, yet still comfortably sat up. Plenty of room in the seat and lots of legroom. Fixed or swivel wheels.

OK it looks a bit like a shopping trolley but it's functional and funky and you'll get lots of glances!

I have used this buggy for a year and absolutely love it. It is very lightweight, and its one-handle design means I can push it with one-hand (though that is trickier to do on uneven ground, especially when my toddler was 2 years old and much heavier than when she was 1!). It is possible to negotiate curbs one-handed as well, but once again, does get harder the older and heavier your toddler gets.

The design of the wheels on the Bebe Confort Vit is a bit flawed however. It does run very smoothly (hence easy to push) and the front wheels swivel smoothly. But because each wheel is covered with a plastic flap over it, the problems start when you walk the pushchair in rainy weather, when the wheels start picking up all kinds of grub from the muddy ground and the grub all gets stuck in between the small gap between each wheel and its plastic flap, making your wheels not turn smoothly and causing you to have to exert more effort to push the pushchair along.

A clean-up of wheels becomes absolutely necessary to restore the pushchair to a smooth ride again.

Its not a hard job, just not a pleasant one, as it involves having to manually fish out all the grub from between the wheels and the flaps covering them. If you have access to a pressure-washer, it would be an easier job to clean the wheels and the flaps covering them.

Also, when folded, the pushchair does not stand by itself (it has to lean against something). Its not a big problem, but its worth bearing in mind.

The pushchair is only suitable from 6 months onwards and the seat position is not adjustable, which is another thing to note. However, my daughter has used it since she was 1 and she has fallen asleep in it at times, and never seemed uncomfortable in the pushchair. In fact she does love going into the pushchair for walks, so I don't think the fixed seat position bothers her one bit.

I'll be sad to have to stop using this as I'm expecting another baby and can't use this for a baby under 6 months of age. I will have to settle for another pushchair suitable for very young babies... Also, this pushchair is not compatible with buggy boards or buggypods, so I can't use it either (with a very young baby and a toddler who walks).

I must add that the raincover is a little cheaply designed (it uses elastic to fix to the pushchair, and over the time I've used it, the elastic now looks rather overstretched, but the raincover still does its job decently).

The fabric of the seat and the sun hood is good quality and they have not shown signs of wear and tear after a year's use, though I do often use a fleece buggy seat cover to line the seat as it makes the ride warmer and cosier in winter for my daughter. The pushchair only comes with raincover and no footmuff, so you'd have to get your own footmuff or look into a buggy seat liner/blanket like the one I use.

The negative points do not outweigh the positives, in my opinion. This was one of the best buys I've ever made for a baby.

Because its very light and the wheels run smooth and swivel (when they are clean), I find it a cinch to manouvre. I've tried heavier pushchairs with pneumatic tyres and although people say pneumatic tyres supposedly give a smooth ride and therefore are easier to push, I did find that the benefit of pneumatic tyres are normally outweighed by the extra size and weight of pneumatic-tyred pushchairs.

I will never swap this buggy for anything else if given a choice (unless you're talking about a Maclaren Volo which is just as lightweight). I previously owned a Mamas & Papas Pliko for 3 years and hated using it so much - it weighed about 8 kgs, which I already felt was too heavy for me and it never was as easy to steer as the Bebe Confort Vit anyways.

amazing lightweight buggy, only 4kg, and so easy to steer with one hand. our son doesn't fall asleep in the buggy so the lack of recline doesn't bother us. its a bit of a pain to steer when the baby is walking because its so light, and it will tip if you load it up with shopping bags and then lift the baby up, but for trains/buses it can't be beaten, and its more stylish than the mcclaren volvo, and looks more durable. only other down side is that there's not so much storage and it folds down small, but not in half. verall, i really recommend it as a portable easy to steer buggy from 6months onwards.
