We have owned a Mura 4 and cot attachment for 18 months now, so thought a long term review would be useful.
We think this pushchair is brilliant. We were impressed with it when we bought it and are even more impressed with it after a year and a half of use. It has withstood the daily abuse that pushchairs get very well, and still looks like new. Its very comfortable, both with the cot attachment and the seat. We used the adapters included with a Maxi-cosi car seat for the first 6 months or so and this worked very well.
We use it alot for walks on rough paths and off road. Its excellent in these conditions as the wheels are quite large. As they are inflatable you can even lower the tyre pressure for extra suspension on rough ground, although the trailing arm style rear suspension works very well by itself. As the wheels are easily removable, it makes cleaning after off roading very easy!
Of course on paved surfaces the Mura 4 is also excellent and really does not feel as heavy as it is. The fabric on the seat and chair are still in pristine condition and are showing no signs of wear whatsoever.
We found that a universal footmuff could be fitted with the T-bar going through the hole for the crotch strap. This works well as long as you dont mind the T-bar being enclosed inside the foot muff.
Its a heavy pushchair, so I wouldnt take it on public transport or an a flight. It does fold down quite well for its size and will fit into the boot of our Corsa (with the parcel shelf removed).
But really I cant fault it. Nothing at all on the pushchair has broken. The quality of the Mura 4 easily exceeds that of our neighbours bugaboo that was twice the price.
Maxi-cosi have really done a fantastic job with this pushchair.

Love this system- bought from £169 on Kiddicare with a soft carrycot, the price included raincover and maxi cosi car seat adaptors.
This is a solid pushchair, very easy to fold and unfold, and if you remove the wheels (which is very easily done) it has fitted in small boots- have had it in a corsa.
I have had the hard carrycot which i bought separately, my son is still in this having outgrown the moses basket, I find he sleeps better in this than his cot and love that the lining can be removed for washing and both the hard and soft carrycots fold down to help with storage.
The seat faces both ways which is great and have a clever bumper bar which comes up in the middle like handle bars on a bike, the downside to this is you either need a split leg footmuff or to remove it which is easily done and the stopper that is included inserted. Not sure the seat is suitable from birth as they say, have tried my son in it and he looks a bit lost even at three months, however hoping the large seat size will accommodate him for a long time to come.
We have taken this over lots of different surfaces and no puntures yet and very easy to manouever- have put slime in the wheels to reduce punctures.
I think this is a great system and rivals quinnys and bugaboos in quality, features and maveourability. It is bigger and heavier but haven't found this to be a problem at all, the newer mura's have some improvements to the hood so that it is now attached to the seat which is better. Would definately recommend and would buy again.

This is a fantastic buggy would recomend it to any one!
The wheels are great for all surfaces. I have alot of back troubles but I haven't found it all that heavy.
A very easy buggy, great pram top, you can have the maxi cosi car seat on top of the frame for easy shopping etc.
I can't fault this buggy at all. I did alot of reseach on buggys and would not change my mind on this one at all.

Really big on quality and durability and comfort for your baby. It's also really big!
It won't fold up very well with the seat on - you need to remove the seat to fold the chassis properly.... so NOT one for public transport! (unless you have a roll-on roll-off facility - and you know there will be room for you on your travel date!).
The T-bar "bumper" is a stroke of genius obviously designed by a parent that's had experience of getting the toddler back in the buggy when they don't want to! It's your extra hand - and makes that job a cinch!
The baby also loves that T-bar feature - he loves to pretend he is driving (whether he is facing forward or rearward).
This pushchair performs extremely well - whichever way round you face the seat - if you are using the hood - and you reverse the seat - you need to slip the hood off the frame and reverse IT also, because the hood fits onto the frame of the buggy rather than the seat unit.
The raincover provided fits better when the pushchair is forward facing than rearward facing.
The cosytoes looks odd - compared to the usual "sleeping bag" style ones - but it is a good product - really well made and will easily fit up to 2y old maybe a bit more - cleverly you can unzip the "feet" so baby's shoes can poke through. The sides unzip completely so it IS very easy to use and get baby in and out.
The fabrics on the seat unit are beautiful, soft and relatively dirt resistant. If your little one makes a huge mess of it - you can hand wash - although this may take some time to dry as the padding is sponge! I've not had to do this yet thankfully.
The basked beneath the seat is large and useful - there's not that much clearance between the seat and the basket bottom though.
The matching Mura bag fits in the basket perfectly and even had a grab handle for this use - put your shopping in there and then sling it below the seat to make life easier! (it is a big bag!).
The carrycot is fab - very posh, luxurious, typically would take a child up to 6 months like most modern prams. I find by this age the baby would like to be sat up a little in a seat anyway.
I like the click on off brake - it works very well. I think this pram is fab - it performs quite well off-road on parkland - you won't want to trudge up a mountain with it though because it's heavy. You don't notice the weight in ordinary use because it glides along so nicely - but you would going up a steep hill.
I feel my baby is really comfy, happy, safe and well protected from the weather in this pushchair.
I would recommend it to people who walk a lot and don't want to use it on the bus/tube/train. I have a 2nd buggy for those outings! (it is a rare thing to find a pushchair that fits every circumstance well)!
