Avent Isis

I bought this one after having DC1 and found that I was unable to pump more than a few drops using it. At the time it knocked my confidence until I was told that the amount you can pump is no reflection on how much you are producing.

If you use this pump and find that you have very little coming out, I would try a different pump.

Great pump, easy to use and clean and to put together. It's cheap too.

Amazing breastpump. I used this pump for my two babies and expressed for both of them for 1 year and 1.5 years respectively. Much better than an electric pump and although fiddly at first, was a doddle with time. It was my must have mummy item throughout the early years.

I originally bought an Avent Isis IQ, which is electronic, but ended up only using it with the manual pump. I expressed at work, so bought an Avent Isis so I could have one at home and one at work.

Once I worked out how to assemble the pump the first time, I found it very easy to do subsequently. It is also easy to clean the parts with the little brush that was included in the box before sterilising.

I expressed at work for several months using the Avent and found it quickly expressed my milk and the pumping action didn't hurt my wrist.
