With the Mumsnet
Book Club already thriving, we thought it about time we started reviewing grown up books and for this category we're looking for books published in the last year or so that are easy reads, something uplifting to take to a sunny beach, or to pick up in a quiet moment at home (should you be lucky enough to have one of those). At some point when we've reached a critical mass we'll be handing out a dazzling literary award to the winning book (watch out Mr Booker) so please add as many reviews as you like and feel free to comment on other folks' choices. As ever, if you have any suggestions for new categories you'd like to see, please send them over to contactus@mumsnet.com.

I got this from Amazon as I was looking for something easy to read about being a mum, and found it really truthful, perceptive and, most importantly, very funny about the process of becoming a mother after being a person in your own right. She voices the doubts, fears and dilemmas that have faced us all in this process with honesty and humour. It's an affirming read that reminds us that although we may not be able to 'have it all', we can get some of it right, sometimes, and that feels great. A fantastic read for any mum.

Not necessarily just a parenting book a good light read but those who spend plenty of time with children will get the full benefits.
About a Mum who gives up career to enter whole heartedly into motherhood. Tells the trials and tribulations of raising three children with husband often absent.
Great easy read. Reminds you of the fun parts of having children.
You will finish it with a big smile on your face
