We bought this as soon as our daughter could sit up and both she and I love it. We can now go through kissing gates and over styles, wherever the dog goes.

The straps adjust with your height so at 5.3" I am comfortable and my husband finds it very comfie at 6.0".

I think the Vaude are really good for shorter people (I'm 5'5) as the back adjuster reduces significantly in comparison to the bushbaby.

Toddler seems less secure, (not enough padding for small babies) than in the bushbaby, but is high up so comfy to wear.

Included raincover and sunshine dead useful.

Everyone found this backpack really comfortable: "It's well padded and distributes the baby's weight evenly between shoulders, waist and chest". It works well for older children: "My son's now four and I'm still happy to carry him in it". Because it's designed primarily as a lightweight rucksack "it comes with many useful extras such as the elasticated mesh pockets for drinks etc". Overall folks were delighted: "I forgot to take it on holiday and borrowed a friend's. Both baby and I were miserably uncomfortable in comparison. It really made me appreciate the Vaude".
