Many felt this carrier was really worth the additional cost. It's crammed with great design features and extras: "We were looking at the cheaper Deuter model, but as soon as we put our son in this he looked really comfy and we found it more comfortable too". All reviewers found it comfortable to wear over a long period of time: "There are loads of adjustments to get the fit just right for wearer and baby and plenty of storage space". Reviewers particularly liked the very high back and padded sides, which made the baby feel really secure.

We did quite a bit of research before buying a backpack and we are really pleased with the deuter Kid Comfort as it completely lives up to the reviews and the sales pitch. Its very comfy for both child and adult and our son spent many months happily in this.

Would definately recommend this to others.

The Deuter Kid comfort III is the best around. I did loads of research taking into account the weight of the carrier, and the need for a rain cover, and this came out on top in every way. The only downside was the cost, but when you compare it to others and then add on all the accessories you need it doesn't come in too high.
