Never mind what I thought, the grins and laughs coming from my son told me that he thought it was the bees knees! The tray means he can play with any toy he wants, and we can use it as an eating chair when we finally start weaning him too. He loves to sit in it on the work surface beside me when I'm baking or doing the washing up and it is the only way me and my husband get to eat without him wanting to be held (clingy baby). I bought it second hand so was great value for money, don't know if I'd have bought one had they only been full price £35 inc tray.

I thought this was excellent. My baby was able to sit in it and it's easy to take to places etc. You won't be disappointed.

I really like having one for my son and regretted not buying it for my girls.
We had a tray so it was really handy for feeding my son in the living room and garden.

Like many others, I thought this was too expensive to buy new. I bought the seat second hand and a new tray to go with it.
DS, now 10 months, has used it from about 4 months. He still fits in it and occasionally has his lunch in it, even now. It was great for weaning as it's easy to wipe clean and he's in an upright position. The tray is hard to clip on when they're in the seat and although I don't have a problem now, there's a definite knack which involves tilting the seat back slightly when they're in it. We had a phase where my son tried to push himself out of it backwards so I wouldn't leave him in it unsupervised.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Bumbo, but don't waste your money on a new one.
