I have tried to play this game on dd's Nintendo DS a couple of times and found it really difficult. Dd loves it, she is 8 and I think you need to be at least that age to play, good if you want a game to really get involved in.

This review is actually by my seven year old son...
This game is based on the film The Golden Compass and it is quite good. You have to try and follow people, do challenges and stuff. You can play as Lyra, Pan or Iorek the great bear and you have to follow the Golden Compass. It is a good adventure game and exciting and the graphics are really good, but it is quite a hard game and I have got stuck on a bit at the moment. I am going to ask my mum to go onto the website and look for cheats. I think it is the sort of game that will get better and better, the more you play it, but it is not that easy to learn at first. Which is kind of good as otherwise it would be really boring if you finished it really quickly. I play it on my DS.
