All my children from ages 8 to 13 enjoy this game, Although it can get repetative. It is one they come back to after a short break from it.

Great first game - my 4 year old nephew loved this and only needed a bit of assistance. Good for mums too!

My 6 year old likes this game and really enjoys it. Easy to follow and think it will help her in the future want to learn more when I prepare dinners and for her to come up with meal suggestions too.

We first became aware of Cooking Mama after our dd saw an advert on Milkshake for the "number 1 cooking game" and pestered us for it for months and months! Eventually we caved in and bought it - she still loves it a year later.

At 4 years old, she needs a lot of help playing it, especially reading the instructions. But she got the hang of it quickly (much quicker than her mother who still struggles to understand how to flip the burger, turn the knobs and so on!) Her favourite bit is chopping up the vegetables. I think it's a good game for teaching you co-ordination skills - perhaps that's why I'm so bad at it! It's also quite interesting for learning the techniques behind different recipes and hopefully inspires a love for cooking in your child (if coupled with some real cooking in a real kitchen!)
