We got this for DS, aged 6, and he has found it pretty tricky but good fun. The graphics are good and the game engaging with lots of different screens and things to collect. The instructions are a bit hit and miss and I'm still not sure what the ultimate aim of the game is, but we have all enjoyed playing it.

Would recommend this game for age 7+ even though it is recommended for 3+ as it is difficult to get into there is little information in hand book on how to play the game, and the on screen instructions are vague.

In Disney's Ratatouille a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a rodent-phobic profession.

When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds hmself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his hero, Auguste Gusteau.

The game involves you helping Ratatouille through a series of tasks or help him cook different dishes without burning them.
