Parents loved the childcare: "absolutely fantastic with qualified, conscientious and fun English nannies". Food was "better than expected" although "chips featured heavily on the children's menu". Watersports were "fantastic" but "lots of people seemed happy to relax by the pool, so there's no guilt if you're not sailing" and Bodrum's under half an hour away so "you can escape if the club-type holiday gets too much for you!" Evening entertainment is limited as are non-watersport adult activities and reviewers also warned of icy kids' pools in early season. Overall:" a perfect place to relax with great childcare and sailing".

Javelin has been recently refurbished and would definitely advise against this resort if you have kids in a buggy - the rooms are set on a hill and there are numerous steps and crazy pavings which are not buggy friendly at all - fine for older kids who don't need a hand up and down steps. Once you finally get down to the resort from your room the facilities, food and staff are excellent though.
