Don't be put off by the fact that you have to screw-fix this gate. It's still easy-to-fit and when properly mounted is far more secure than the more popular friction pad type gates. It also leaves LESS damage behind when removed..! There are just a few very small holes which are easily filled. (Anyone who has used the friction pad type will probably have discovered how easy it is to crush and badly damage a plasterboard wall!)

Looks good too - well finished at such a modest price.

Wall-mounted wooden stairgate. Clicks open and shut with one hand once you get the hang of it. Can open either way and doesn't leave a bar for you to fall over. You can move the gate elsewhere, leaving the fixings behind, which is quite handy.
