We have 3 of these so we must like them - only problem is I have a ring of bruises around my thighs where I keep bashing into them!! Also, not keen on the bar at the base of the gate - wouldn't dare risk putting one at the top of the stairs as it is a definite trip hazard!

Very practical. We initially had wooden stairgates that fixed to the wall which were much more fiddly.

Good at first but the realease button on the handle broke after about 3 weeks. Had replacement but the same thing happened again! Won't buy one of these again.

Lindam - Easy Fit Wood And Metal Gate. Functional yet great looking. Metal combined with wood. Easy to assemble or move if needed.

Unlike many pressure fit gates this one doesn't lose suction when you open the gate-feels much safer than others I've used.
