I bought this for my 7 yr old son after getting the mini micro for my 3 yr old daughter's birthday; they were constantly fighting over it despite being bright pink! He's never really got on with bicycles, but loves this scooter and whizzes along the pavement, keeping up with me on my bike. Not being very coordinated he wisely chose the T bar handle over the joystick.

We bought my daughter the Maxi Micro for her birthday and are delighted with it.As others have said, it does take a bit of time to get used to the joystick but she's fine with this now. The best thing is that unlike the cheaper scooters on the market, it's really strong and smooth over bumps and on rough ground and I'm sure will last much longer. I've spent so much money on the cheap scooters in the past because they always break, so I really think this is money well spent. Scooters are a fab way of getting to school (my daughter is nine so her bike seems so big on the pavement now and she's not quite old enough to ride on the roads). They also take up far less space in the hall! A very good buy.

My kids love this scooter - in fact the older two (10) have been known to bribe my six year old to have a turn. It's a really smooth ride and the wheel mechanism means it's easy to turn and control. The joystick does take a wee bit of getting used to, I think, but my six year old is now a dab hand at it and if I say so myself, looks immensely cool scooting around on it one-handed. It's pricey but it's quality innit?

We bought these for Xmas. The kids like them but don't like the joystick handle. Have just forked out another £40 to buy T-bar handles. Feel a bit miffed that they didn't offer this as standard.. Great scooters but is it fair to rip the customers off like this?

I have just ordered one for my 5 year old daughter having seen it at a Christmas Fair last week. The two wheels at the front are perfect for her whilst the handlebar stick I hope will make her feel she is more grown-up than her younger sister who is still whizzing about on her mini. Will write more when we receive it but it's about time there was something like this available for the next stage of scooting!
