Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

Fantastic value for money, have used them from when baby was 5 days old.

Only complaint is that could have extra covers for each size( only 3 for each size given in pack)They dry quickly and I feel give baby more support (feel sturdier when picked up)

Only other thing is some jeans / trousers a little tight to get over nappy area.

They work. The poppers take marginally longer to do up than velcro would, but the poppers are crucial to the design which allows the nappies to be usable from birth to potty. The savings this represents makes Onelife nappies well worth buying.

FANTASTIC

These worked wonderfully for both my son (from 1 1/2 years to potty trained at three) and my daughter (birth to currently 1 1/2 years). I cannot praise them enough and have converted totsbots users to these also.

Not great for newborn - mine was 7lb 3oz and I felt that these were too bulky until she was at least 5-6 weeks old. Apart from that they are very good. You obviously have to change them far more often than disposibles, but they are easy to wash and dried pretty quickly on the line.

Great as a night time nappy with a prefold booster. I don't rate the wraps much though, found them difficult to fit for heavy wetters.
